Soundcard configuration

Hi all,

at boot time on my RH5.1 2.0.34 kernel based box, i get the following
message from the sound blaster driver : "interrupt test failed on IRQ5 -
device disabled". 

/var/log/messages also holds a "/dev/dsp reset failed" line. 

lsmod tells sound driver was loaded but i get no sound.

My sb compatible card works properly with win98 (I fail to have it work with
winNT). Params in conf.modules are identical to those used in win98.

Any clue on how to fix this ?
