I am experiencing the same problem with SuSE 6.2 (linux 2.2.5),
Turtle Beach Montego II (Vortex chipset). I have currently suspended
investigation and replaced the card with a SoundBlaster 32AWE (PnP).
This message may provide a clue. Please let me know if you find
an answer.
