As a root, start Xconfigurator (if you have it, I do in RH6.1) and there
you have your 107S monitor so I think you will make it. It shouldn't ask
for frequencies. If you are not sure about chips, you say unknown ships
or so, when asked.

Try VGA16 at first or SVGA server.
