Linux works with just about all computer hardware (unless it is
a brand new thing which needs drivers for it).
In fact, linux is _more_ -- MUCH more - compatible with more
hardware (especially right out of the box) than windows. Check the
linux hardware support web pages at RedHat, SuSE, etc.
Your big concern is to make sure that what you get really works with
windows.
