the above opinion is at odds with what little i know. it is a
"GROSS" exaggeration to suggest 'linux' is more compatible than windows,
as most hardware manufacturers "support" windows boxes.
a more reasoned approach would be one in which the
"Hardware-HOWTO" is taken as a final authority, specifically, the section
marded "supported" ...
