Dont the first two statements above contradict each other? I am using you
as a beta tester, by not sending you new versions?

I can not comment on "may", but this sounds far fetched. As long as RMS
doesn't win the legal arguement, MS can not take over Linux. Yes, I read
what I am writing. If code is free, then the GPL is an unwarranted
intrusion on my rights, no? And RMS insists code is by definition, by its
very nature, free.

Exactly. Please read the GPL and the QPL. QPL is non-free. Most of the
code of KDE is issued under GPL. Ergo, I cannot redistribute KDE. Most
distributions avoid this issue by "assuming" that the KDE developers wanted
a licence that was "GPL, with an exception for QT". This would be
perfectly fine, and legal, but is simply not the case. Before we jump on
MS, please check your KDE/QT Licence.

Exactly.
