I have been using diald with dynamic ip addresses for about a year now.
I finally got a static ip address but it doesn't work when I dial in. I
changed my /etc/diald/diald.conf by remarking out the 'dynamic' entry
and changed the remote address to my static address, what else do I need
to change. What happens is that I get connected and everything works,
except that the ppp device is assigned an ip address. I know I am
missing something stupid. Fortunately my ppp stuff and diald has been
working great so I don't tinker with it much.
