Install cached DNS on your Linux box and use its address in resolv.conf
and "tcp/ip setup" on Win`95.
For example, I have cached DNS on my home Linux box, every time when start
PC, diald dials to our office modem pool to update DNS and make it may 10
min max. After this diald dials only if I need. On our office mail server
we have secondary DNS on our side (for samarkand.uz) and primary on ISP
side and diald (we use it to connect with ISP) never start connection for
DNS needs.
