I am running diald on a small network at home ( 2xwin98 + 1 linux gateway ) on 192.168.x.x LAN and a dynamic IP over PPP to the internet. IPMasquerading is setup ipfwadm -a m -s192.168.0.0/16 -d0/0 If I display the packet queue from dctrl while the link is up, I see ... interesting traffic. As I (probably mis-)understand the display, it shows the following information: (tcp/udp) sourceip/port destip/port time-remaining The interesting lines show addresses for both source and dest that are outside the LAN. The "source" in many cases is yahoo port 80. The other address I haven't been able to pin down. The only theory I have is that dctrl is showing me reply packets from yahoo/80 to the dynamic IP assigned to me by my ISP. Can anyone confirm/deny/explain this. Thanks in advance. PS. Please respond to both my e-mail address and the list as I'm unsure if I'm receiving the list properly. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-diald" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
