You need to have:
CONFIG_PACKET
and
CONFIG_FILTER
added to your kernel.

Yeah I noticed that the man pages, nor the read me, says nothing about those
two =( Maybe someone who wrote the man page could add that info.
Act. Ive noticed that most man pages has no info about what you must have in
your kernel to make things work.
