Hi!
Since I upgraded my ppp from 2.3.5 to 2.3.10 I'm getting a message in
var/log/messages:
modprobe: can't locate module char-major-108
whenever ppp is coming up, in this context:
Oct 27 04:25:29 server diald[1265]: Running pppd (pid = 1423).
Oct 27 04:25:30 server modprobe: can't locate module char-major-108
Oct 27 04:25:31 server kernel: PPP: version 2.3.10 (demand dialling)
Oct 27 04:25:31 server kernel: PPP line discipline registered.
I don't know what char-major-108 is. I don't know HOW TO FIND OUT!
I'd appreciateit if someone could tellme what it is.
