pppd unsupproted protocol

Well guys,

Here did I drop diald - got few days ago ADSL connection.
Still may I ask ppp question ?

I'm receiving the diagnostics from pppd

.... localhost pppd[....]: Unsupported protocol (0x31) received

every minute or so.

What protocol is that ?
My options have largely switching off all possible compressions
plus
recieve-all
persist
passive
