Hi. These need to be set to valid IP addresses. If you are
assigned a different IP address each time you log on to your ISP,
you need to:
1. Set local and remote to some fake (but valid) addresses that are
not in use at your location (e.g., 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.101).
2. Set the dynamic option in your diald.conf
