JH> You will still need the DIALD Filters....

Ah! And therein lies the rub. All seems to be working but the damned
broadcasts are _still_ triggering diald! In my /var/log/messages I see that
diald is being triggered by a udp messages from my windows machine. The
target address is the remote name server that I specified on the windows
machine. Why is windows trying to contact the name server and why is diald
allowing it to?

Can someone post PRECISELY what should be in my standard.filters in order to
suppress this? Don't tell me "comment out line so and so" or anything like
that. Please just post exactly what lines need to be in the filters file and
what lines need to be removed. Show me an example, please!

TIA!
