Please mention the diald version in use when giving error reports.
If using diald 0.99.2-0.99.3 upgrade to 0.99.4 (buglet that has been
squashed) or search the mailing list archive for a one line change to fsm.c
that will allow the existing code to go immediately into the down state when
the disconnect occurred from the remote end.
If any other version is in use please give a bit more info about your
configuration settings.
