Hey everyone, I seem to be stuck. I just switched ISPs, previously, I had
diald working correctly. At the new ISP, I have a static ip (oh boy).
I can connect using chat-ppp0 normally, but I can't get diald to connect using
it. I'm running diald 99.4, redhat 6.0,
2.2.14 (usb backport). Here is my config file.
mode ppp
connect "/usr/sbin/chat -f /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/chat-ppp0"
device /dev/ttyS0
speed 115200
modem
lock
crtscts
local 204.251.91.204
remote 205.240.74.3
defaultroute
include /usr/lib/diald/standard.filter
fifo /etc/diald/diald.ctl
And here are the logs I'm seeing.

While I'm asking, does anyone know why modprobe is freaking out? It did
it previous (and everything worked), but it would be nice not to happen.
I think I've got ppp built into the kernel (not a module).
Thanks in advanced...
Jeff
