HI
I still seem to be having problems getting diald to setup. I have a windows
machine masquerading on a linux box, when I start up the browser (internet
explorer) on windows diald will dial the modem without a problem. So far so
good.
In DOS I can ping my isp, and in linux I can also ping the isp, BUT the
browser just sits there and cant seem to get anything!!!
I have tried various combinations of DNS possibilities on both computers,
but to no avail. Do I put my own private network's domain name in windows
network settings and in resolv.conf, or do I put my isp's DNS server name in
both? Or is it a combination of the two? Or something completly
different??
Starting the chat script manually works fine, so I am at a complete loss as
to what I should do next.
