The original problem description concerned multiple ppp devices. Diald should
not create a ppp device when it is initiated, only when it is triggered and
successfully starts pppd. Multiple tap or slip devices would be created if
diald were initiated multiple times. It sounds like the original problem is
that the ppp devices are not getting deleted when diald hangs up the connection.
Try the latest rev from sourceforge.
