What class machine? My main router starts the kernel and loads
the ramdisk off of a flash drive, and goes fully operational in < 10
seconds. Of course the main router is a K6-2 400.
If this is a 486 class supporting Xterm type functions ~ 15 sec
startup should be doable, faster if X not required.
