I'm having a problem putting LILO onto my new system.
I loaded the system using Redhat 6.1 and LEM 0.6.
I partitioned the new drive (while it was /dev/hdc) and loaded LEM onto it.
I booted from a floppy and the system came up fine (with the LEM system on
/dev/hda).
When I try to run LILO it spits out:
First boot sector has a pre-21 LILO signature
What is this? how do I fix it.
MY lilo.conf looks like:
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
image=/boot/vmlinuz
label=thinlinux
root=/dev/hda1
read-only
If it makes any difference the system is on a 128M flash
IDE drive.
