Hi,

When I compile a new kernel from original sources and
turn framebuffer support on, the newly build kernel
defaults to boot with framefuffer.

I tried giving it a bootparm of vga="normal" and it
still boots with frame buffer support.

How could I:

a. turn off frame buffers at the boot prompt
b. default to vga and not fb on boot without putting
the appropriat line into lilo.conf

TTYL,
Adi
