Are you running a syslogd?
Thought about that... The logs are kept in ramdisk. I have tried to mount the flash as read-write also, no difference. > > Have you tried replacing tinylogin with the same login that your RH > install uses? I would suspect anything you have messed with. Actually I tried the opposite. I compiled the new tinylogin in RH6.2, then copied it to the flash. When it didn't work I replaced the login that RH6.2 uses with the compiled tinylogin. It worked perfectly. > If not that then I would suspect some sort of library version > problem. On the full install of the RH6.2 system. 20 gig hdd on the first ide controller, the flash is by itself on the second controller. I can try and update the libraries, but that will probably take a goodly amount of time. I didn't really want to take the time to brew my own embedded base setup. If there's a better one than LEM I'd be open to trying it. -- To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the command "unsubscribe linux-embedded" in the message body.
