When I was building an embedded linux booting from ramdisk, I have got a error such as: VFS: Can not open root device "101" or 01:01 Please append a correct "root=" boot option. Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 01:01
I tried to install several times. I have got a few time without this error and many times with this error. However, I do not know what causes it. I know this mailing list has a lot of similar mails but not the same. What causes this error?
