Hi Peter,
I think this is a new problem to me at least. I do not run TNT and
the tcp/ip in Linux runs with both the internet and ham radio tcp/ip over
the ax25 network just fine. I have sent binary files to a ham 90 miles
away by ftp through a x1j-4 node. This same Ham uses telnet through my
Linux to the gateway and over 1000 miles to another gateway in Iowa.
So I think your problem is one with TNT. I tried to use TNT about
3 years ago and had similar problems. I suggest you get the Xfbb packet
bbs from http://www.f6fbb.org and delete TNT.
And do not appologize for using a Baycom modem. Getting that to
work properly in Linux is a good job!
