  Here goes...

Since I've finished studying @pspt.fi, i've been moving the services
i've been running from zone.pspt.fi and friends to my own domain (which I
can point whereever I might be working or studying at a time), and
ftp.funet.fi which is likely to stay there even if I loose interest or
something.

The new FTP distribution site for the ax25-utils is

     ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/ham/unix/Linux/packet/ax25/

  Secondary FTP site is at:

     ftp://ftp.hes.iki.fi/pub/ham/linux/ax25/

  Amprnet address for the above:

     ftp://ftp.oh7lzb.ampr.org/pub/ham/linux/ax25/

The secondary FTP sites actually the primary (funet is mirroring the
stuff from there), but the funet site is very likely to be much faster
than my box for the rest of the world, since it is connected over FDDI to
the very fast FUNET backbone which in turn has very good international
connectivity (my box only has 10 Mbit/s ethernet to a router which has a
622 Mbit/s line with average international connectivity 8-).

I've added a couple of subdirectories there, including a packages/ one,
which includes the debian and RPM packages for the utils
(ax25-utils_2.1.42a-5.deb, ax25-utils-2.1.42a-3.i386.rpm,
ax25-utils-devel-2.1.42a-3.i386). These seem to be the ones most people
are installing these days.

There is also an /incoming/ directory on ftp.hes.iki.fi where people can
drop things they'd like to see in the ax25 distribution. Please drop me an
email if you put something there.

What is this 2.1.42b thing anyway, and where it came from? And what's
the difference to the official 42a?
