Geting information from LDAP to the mail client iss easy. Finding a good data entry and sync tool is my goal. (if anyone tells me to write LDIF files using VI and then importing using ldapadd I will not be amused)




I pass the mail to the IMAP server via Fetchmail -> Postfix -> Amavis (SA and ClamAV) -> Postfix -> LMTP -> Cyrus


s/LMTP/SMTP/ ?

Not a typo ;), it's a protocol. (see: ttp://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2033.txt)



I just use mailshell, it works great so far (but it's not free to new accounts any more :-( ).
