Hi,


Check by any chance you have swapped the HDD from may
be primary to secondary, as the convention is
hda,hdb,hdc,hdd for pri.master, slave,
sec.master,slave.

If by any chance you have swapped the HDD the kernel
will panic.

Hope this will solve your problem.
