True... but if you are using the standard RPMs that came with redhat you
/might/ be able to getaway with an rpm based upgrade... but be prepared to
compile from sources and edit your configuration file by hand if it
doesn't workout.
One advantage with rpm is that cleaning up at a later date doesn't require
a great memory! :)
|BUT do read up on php3 vs php4 incompatibilities before you do so. They
|are very minor but can be a pain if you do not know about them.
And you will also have to tell apache to parse both .php3 and .php files
using the php4 parser!(.phtml etc etc also if you are using them)
