No question about that - you have been summarily cracked. Most likely
the bind bug or the rpc.whatever bug in default RHL 6.2, for which
exploits are available. Unless any of your users are in correspondence
with [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Take the machine off the net, reinstall. And then immediately apply
all the security updates available from RedHat's site.
