Hai friends,
I'm using make 3.78.1, gcc 2.91.66, rh6.2, kernel 2.4.1.
I downloaded Make 3.79.1 from the web and installed it (./configure, make,
make install routine), but on checking the version, it still shows 3.78.1. I
rebooted (out of sheer habit - I'm an old Windows user!) but still no good.
Why? Where have I gone wrong?
