If you read my mail again, you'll see that you do not need fetchmail or
.fetchmailrc on the intranet server, and you do not need a pop3 server
on your gateway. The gateway will send mail to your intranet server
using SMTP.
your fetchmailrc on the gateway will be something like this:
poll mail.vsnl.net proto pop3:
user amit there with password pwd is amit here;
smtphost intranet_server
This will cause all mails that are in the mailbox of [EMAIL PROTECTED] to go
to amit@intranet_server
You need a pop3/imap server running on your intranet server
In your win98 machine, you set your pop3 server to intranet_server and
username as amit. Password is password of amit on intranet_server.
