o You hit the nail bang-on.
o In one thread this evening, I watched in pain on the fun poked at
some newbie who did not know the difference between POP3 and
server based HTTP mail of rediff ... sad.
o At one point of time all of us were just as naive. All that this
youngster displayed was his innocence and ignorance ... and above
all, his willingness to learn. Who had the last laugh ?
o Ridiculing, insulting, oneupmanship and such juvenile tendencies
need to be curbed.
o Nobody throws people out of lists. Most people gracefully withdraw
in silence after such episodes ...
o What we need is a bit more maturity, as persons, and as a group.
Moreso, since everything is on record ...
Just my 2p

####[ Linux One Stanza Tip (LOST) ]###########################
Sub : Recovering an accidentally deleted boot.b LOST #292
The boot.b file along with chain.b and os2_d.b are created at
the time of compilation of LILO. The options for recovery are:
a) re-compile and re-install b) Do a "lilo -V" and get version
number in use. Copy a boot.b of exactly the same LILO version
from another box. c) Remove lilo and re-install from distro CD
