That's not a feature of just Eudora... many mail clients implement DSNs
and MDNs.

That is not your problem. Blank envelope sender is allowed by RFC 1123. All
MTAs are required to accept blank envelope senders. They are used for bounce
notifications, DSNs and these MDNs of yours (this is also an RFC requirement).

on DSN).

What you should do is to contact the admin of the domain in question and tell
him to allow MAIL From: <> messsages.
