This NIC is ok for half duplex 10Mbps stuff on boxen which get rebooted. If you want a home LAN for games/heavy netowrk use, put in a 3Com or an Intel EEpro. It will cost you about 1000+ INR, but the quality is worth it. I have had dlink NICs die off in LAN environments, while running. Often the only solution was a reboot :(.
