does the machine restart everyday at the same time ?. Is it a clean reboot or the machine juz hungs without any response and then you reboot it manually?. Do you have any memory problem?. Did you check dmesg ?. Also, rh 9, with default/desktop install have a problem that any user can issue reboot.
