When your machine was being made ready for LA2005 I noticed that "$cat 
/proc/cpuinfo" shows CPU model name as Athlon 3.0GHz (something??) whereas CPU 
mhz were shown as 2000 (something??)
Another thing was that when I ran a perl script that I had used earlier to 
compare CPU throughput I got time of 4min10sec compared to 3min55sec for my 
AMD-Opetron64-1.8 With faster processor I had expected this to be lower than 
what I got on my machine.
Is it that a 64bit CPU is struck on a 32 bit board? Do check.
