The 3200+ is supposed to be a PR (Performance rating) and that means
that this processor is supposed to work as good as a > 3200 MHz
processor. What AMD uses for benchmarking this .. your guess is as good
as mine.

Thats why the diference is there. The opteron being used by sudev is
probably running a 64 bit distro. And in any case those two processors
are architecturally (did I spell that right ?) different. Installing 64
bit debian on the AMD64 would give you different results, though.
