I had developed the Rconnect software for Reliance Data Card initially in
2003 for Linux, which was released by Reliance. Since then I have been
using it and have been happy with it. Recently they have the Broadband
data card, which works in a fall back mode. So in case you are travelling
in an area, where you do not get Broadband speed, it would fall back to
lower rate and not keep you hanging. I have personally seen that coverage
is quite good and few months back it worked in my remote village and that
was a historical thing since no one had ever used Internet in that
village!
