Hi Friends, Sorry for posting the Question i'm gonna ask, as its not realted to Linux, but hope some experts will help me solve my problem. I have a Netwrok which is structured (AMP cabling) 10-20 machines connected thru a Cisco 2924XL Switch , with all ports 10/100Mbps. The NIC's on the machines are 3Com 10/100 with WOL. And every thing works fine and i get a good speed of the 100Mpbs network . Now in network there are two machines, where the netwrok speed is VERY slow..!! I had found one thing., when i try to copy a Single file BIG Size say 200/300 MB from that machine to others its goes of smothlly. But when i try to a bunch of small files which will be of say 200/300 KB , it takes a long time to copy these file... Can u belive NT Explorer shows 11-15 min. to copy some 100/300 KB files. I have cheked the switch ports. and even the NIC cards, as i have told its 3Com cards and all the other machines also have the same cards and all machines have the SAME config. as they are all HP Vectra machine..!!! Now what is the cause of the problem....!! Can anyone help me out...!!! mail me back at [EMAIL PROTECTED] rgds Rajesh ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------- LI is all for free speech, but this list was created for a purpose -- to help popularise Linux in India.
