Hi
Try booting from a boot floppy if you created one. Then login as root.
Edit the /etc/lilo.conf to see if the config is correct. Type a lilo -v and
now the pc should boot properly.
if you donot have the floppy boot from the CD, select upgrade when given
a selection as to install or upgrade. Deselect all packages. The setup will
install lilo again and it should work. I've faced the same problem and the
above procedure worked. Seems like there is a bug in lilo that ships with
redhat 6.1. since then i've changed the boot loader to Choose OS from lilo.
