Some.  For instance, GPG supports Elgamal which SSL doesn't to the

Run sendmail through ssltunnel.

Use GPG (or PGP) for standard files.  For E-mail, I'm still looking
for a PGP/GPG plug-in for Netscape Messenger or Outlook Express which
will allow me to exchange PGP/GPG messages with winduhs
weenies^H^H^H^H^H^H^H users.
