Pontus has taken over the OBEX development but he needs some help making
RPM's. PyOBEX will soon be released, and I have in fact started updating
the new Open-OBEX web-pages today.

It's a bit dangerous to update the HOWTO for a development version of
Linux-IrDA if you ask me. Patch-2.2.13-irda23 reflects the IrDA code for
the Linux-2.3 development. Yes, things have changed a lot, and they might
be changed again!!! Lets make the modifications needed when Linux-2.4 is
out, or if we get things as is into 2.2.15.

People who have followed this mailing list knows what to do: "irattach
/dev/ttyS<x> -s 1" and using a dongle such as esi: "irattach /dev/ttyS<x>
-d esi -s 1". Irmanager is obsolete for the latest patches.

.. and in /etc/conf.modules

# IrDA
alias tty-ldisc-11 irtty
alias char-major-161 ircomm-tty
alias irda-dongle-0 tekram
alias irda-dongle-1 esi
...
