This is a bit of a long shot but...
Does anyone know if it is possible to switch the serial port from IR to
normal serial and back again without rebooting and mucking around in the
BIOS setup. I have an ActiSYS 210L on my Intel TC430HX motherboard and would
like to be able to use the second serial port as well as the IR (though not
at the same time obviously).
I'm quite prepared to write the code to do this if only I could find out which
chip registers need changing.
