I've just sent another patch (changeset 135) which improves the
riocp playlist functionality. Now the new -L option no longer
uses a playListName argument to specify which playlist contents
you want to print or download. Instead, the playlist name(s) are
specified through the existing -s or -S search options. If -L is
set, those playlists which match the search criteria are expanded
and the corresponding tunes listed or downloaded. I've also added
a new name formatting tag (%l) (only valid for the -l option) to
allow using playlist names in the formating strings. An example:
./riocp -L -s title=Playlist2,type=play+artist=Corea \
-l playlists/%l/%a/%t.%c -u tunes/%g/%a/%t.%c
[...]
Searching FIDs with "title=Greece ": 5 selected
ANDing FIDs with "type=playlist ": 1 selected
ORing FIDs with "artist=Corea ": 6 selected

And, of course, if you add -d to the command, you get the files
downloaded to the "playlists/Greece/George Dalaras/" and
"tunes/Jazz/Corea, Gillespie, etc./" directories.
Now it should be nice to have a kind of symetric upload
functionality for playlists... But I'd rather leave this for
somebody else, as I am now figuring out how to add playlyst
expansion to lkarmafs.
