Exchange has ETRN option built in - I have clients using it.
The only problem I am aware of is that it is linked to NT RAS, so if the clients is
using say a dial-on-demand
ISDN router rather than RAS then it will not work.

I have written an ETRN program in Rexx (needs IBM Objectrexx for NT) I also have a
version of CRON in Rexx
so in these cases I set the client up with CRON to schedule their ETRN requests say
every 30 minutes ...
My ETRN script should also run on Linux with the (free) IBM ObjectRexx.

I am sure there must be perl versions of both CRON and ERTN that would do the same
thing. There is a good
port of Perl for NT, check out the usual perl sources :)
