To Whom,

I believe Procmail is a very efficient and effective mailing system that
no one should do without. As a result of my efforts to construct the
configurations I ran into some snags. For that reason I have included
part of my .procmailrc file for version procmail-3.11-1.i386 for
scrutiny so I can get some detailed advice.

For instance:

     What symbols are used for "not", "and", "or" parameters? I'm
     assuming "!" is for not.

     To, From, and Subject can be used for fields to filter mail.
     What others can be used?

     Where are more details (possibly internet addresses) besides
     the man pages?

     Why is the first entry suppose to have :0: while the others
     have :0?

     Would someone clarify the use of the colon and period?

     I noticed once .procmailrc was initiated Netscape mail was
     much much slower while opening, even with empty folders. What
     causes this delay?

     Does the LOGFILE in the Netscape directory cause confusion and
     delays for Netscape?

PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/bin
MAILDIR=$HOME/nsmail
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/Inbox
LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/FROM
