It's not a duplicate route; well, not in the real sense :) When you
ifconfig a device, ifconfig automatically sets a route for your adapter.
You probably have an extra route command in your rc file.
You should remove the route line from you rc.inet1 (or whatever) script
and delete your current route. Net-utils 1.47 ifconfig produces a strange
broadcast
error with me, however, which I suspect stems from my usage of appletalk.
