I have a network completely restricted by a firewall, except for http
requests. Netscape refuses to run (hangs immediately) if I have one of my
machines acting as a primary DNS server for the network.

I know this is a little odd ... to have a primary DNS server which can't
connect to the outside world. One should just use the hosts file. However,
I will be getting a dedicated connection soon, and am setting up the
infrastructure. The DNS also helps out sendmail.

Netscape seems to have problems with the local nameserver... Even if I try
to access a local html page, the browser still hangs right away. It's not
agreeing with the dns server, for some reason. Has anyone experienced
this?
