The wave lan devices use spread spectrum, so interfernance is not much of
an issue. They almost have to use it, since 2.4GHz is the same frequency
as a consumer microwave oven.
If you are talking about under 100feet (using an omni directional antena
setup, get the bigest one you can for the system), and the props are not
made of cement and rebar, I don't see much of an issue.
Last I checked these cards were in the $400 each range (isa version is
about $500 I think, since it's just a pcmcia version with an adapter).
