Hi,
I have a 3com 905c-TX-M card I tried to install with RH 6.0...no luck as
suggested by one of the list members i got the latest source compiled it
and installed it..voila! the card was recognized..so far so good...
But here is the funny thing..I connect it directly to my hub...but the
light on the other side of the bub does not show up..I know the hib
works..I have so many other machines connected that work fine and the
cable is ok too I double checked...I ran 3com diagnostics to see if
anything was wrong..could not find any..(I tried with both boot rom
enable and disabled..no luck..)
The other problem I noticed was that when I add the default gw it gets
added fine but when I run route to see it..the command just hangs
indefinitly...
eth0: 10.0.0.19, 255.255.255.0
route add default gw 10.0.0.1
route::shows two entries and hangs...why..??? could the problems be
related...
